| Certificates for equipment and/or other devices with telecommunication features that use transmission power below 10 mW (milliWatt) and only have one (1) similar telecommunication feature can apply to more than one (1) variant as long as they have: |
- The same brand and type of equipment and/or other devices; and
- The same brand and type of telecommunication equipment and/or telecommunication devices.
How This Applies to Low-Power Telecommunication Toys
Any telecommunication device with low power transmission can obtain a single SDPPI Postel certification for all series of devices, particularly for children’s toy products such as remote control cars, remote control helicopters, and other toys with low-power telecommunication features.
Conditions for a Single SDPPI Postel Certificate to Apply to Multiple Series
For a single SDPPI Postel certificate to cover all series, the following conditions must be met:
- Same brand and type of device: All variants must come from the same brand and type of device for the certification to apply.
- Same brand and type of telecommunication feature: The telecommunication feature on the device must be similar in both brand and type.
