What is an STB?

Why is STB Certification Important?
In accordance with regulations established by the government, devices that use radio frequencies must be certified. As with STBs (Set Top Boxes), these devices typically use WLAN frequencies, commonly known as WIFI. STBs are subject to regulations established by the government, namely KEPMEN KOMDIGI No. 12 of 2025 concerning WLAN frequencies. The following are the WLAN regulations permitted in Indonesia
